I love Lucy
This is going to be a loaded post so try and keep up. Around 3 years ago my dad was told he has kidney failure. The worries, the questions, the blood test, and dialysis start. It was a learning expiernce. Then Jim came into our lives. Jim is a guy in his 30's who is a husband and a pee wee hockey coach. He decides he has 2 kidneys and can live a good life with one. So Jim became my hero and my dad got a new kidney. Forward to a year and a half later and for some reason the kidney has too much strain and we are back to square one of the worried, the questions, the blood test, and dialysis. We (my parents) have the cutest damn dog ever. He is Milo. He is like the 4th child and the whole family is in love with him. We baby him and fight over him. Jake hid the dog in the basement and held him ransom for 50 thousand dollars. Milo barked and my mom opened the door. Ransom FAIL. So a normal thursday night turns wierd, Milo gets out of the garage. We almost have him back and he chaces a car. Thats right a 9 pound dog chased a damn car. The car won and all of our hearts are broken into a billion pieces. We love Milo and it hurts sooooo bad. So now the family has a broken heart and a broken kidney. A week later here comes Lucy, another maltese. We are warry to bring her home. Will this help Dad's moral, the family's moral, is it too soon? So now there is this dog she weighs like a pound and a half and has melted the broken pieces of a family's heart. I love Lucy, she has helped moral and has made it so we can talk about Milo and not cry, okay we still cry but now there is laughter and tears about what Milo brought to us. I love Lucy. Amen
